Ten Music signs Last Gang Records

Fresh from SXSW, Ten Music is thrilled to announce the signing of Record Label Last Gang from Toronto, Canada.

Last Gang Records is a Canadian based record label formed by music industry attorney Chris Taylor. Since its formation in the fall of 2002, Last Gang has released recordings by Boys Noize, Chromeo, Crystal Castles, the now defunct Death From Above 1979, Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton, Metric, Mother Mother, The New Pornographers, Tiga, and local wunderkind Producers MSTRKRFT (pic above).

SXSW Keynote Speaker Lou Reed Loves Dr. Dog

If you made it down to SXSW this year, you may have caught the tribute to this years keynote speaker Lou Reed. You may have also caught the interview which you can check out in it’s entirety here. When Lou was asked out of 1500+ bands playing the festival who was his favorite, he had but one response: Dr. Dog! Hanes spot makes Adweek "Spot of the Day"

Really fun spot. We wrote a big beat track to act as the soundtrack to the “No Wedgie” spot for Hanes. We sent the client to set with the track to give Sarah Chalke the inspiration to “channel Lucille Ball” as one review stated.
